SET SOLO | Choreography as set by the Eisteddfod. Music and Videos available to affiliated studios at no extra cost. * Only applicable to Ballet and Modern. * Prescribed work of the Eisteddfod may NOT be performed in public for school, a show or competitive purposes. CLASS SOLO | Choreography as set by the Teacher/Trainer. Each dancer may have their own dance, or several students may perform the same dance. * Dancers may not compete in both Championship sections and Class solo sections. |
UNPREPARED MIME | Dance Studios may enter students for unprepared mime, but please note these sections will be scheduled during the DRAMA session. More info – Mime |
CHAMPS SOLO | Choreography as set by the Teacher/Trainer. Each dancer must have their own dance. * These Sections are marked by two to three Adjudicators at a very high standard. * Only applicable to Ballet (incl. Spanish) and Modern. * If there is enough interest, Tap and Acro Champs might be added. More info – Championships |
STUDENT CHOREOGRAPHY | Choreography as set by a student. May NOT be a solo item – only DTQ’s and groups. Two students may choreograph an item together. More info – Student Choreography |
REPERTOIRE SOLOs AND DTQs | Only applicable to Ballet. More info – Repertoire |
DTQ | (Duet, Trio, Quartet) – Two, three or four dancers. |
GROUP | Five or more dancers. No upper limit. |
